Welcome to the International Evangelical Church of Duhok!
The International Evangelical Church of Duhok was planted in 2013 by believers who desired a healthy local church where their families could be fed from the truth of God’s word and where others could come to hear the good news that Jesus saves sinners. Since that time the church has grown from two families meeting in homes to a diverse group made up of people from several nations and backgrounds. Despite many changes over the years, IECD remains committed to the same goal that led to its founding. We desire to be a healthy church which is committed to the mission our Savior gave to His people, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything God has commanded us.
At the International Evangelical Church of Duhok, our mission is the Great Commission of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20). We are dedicated to making disciples of all nations by going to those who are lost, proclaiming the gospel message that Jesus alone saves sinners, and walking with believers as they learn to follow Jesus in humble faith and obedience.
